MyWorld - Strength in Places
Watershed is excited to be a partner in MyWorld, a project led by the University of Bristol that will celebrate the West of England's reputation as an international trailblazer in creative technology and screen-based media.I trained as an actor at The University of The West of England and then as a Director at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School on their MA Drama Directing program.
Working as a director (theatre and film), movement director and facilitator I specialise in ensemble and interdisciplinary work. As an artist, I am passionate about bold, ambitious and innovative stories that attempts to push the boundaries of the art forms to engage audiences beyond being simply observers. I have worked across a range of styles and forms including musicals, interactive theatre, shakespeare and working with young people.
I am always looking at ways in which I can utilise technology to create a heightened and fresh perspective to theatre and filmmaking. Whether that be through design, delivery or creation.
Previous Directing credits include: Katie Johnstone by Luke Barnes, TABLE by Tanya Ronder and Mountains on The Moon (Winner of Best Childrens Event: Buxton Festival).
As Associate Director: Deathdrop: Back in the Habit, TuckShopUK’s All Drag Dick Whittington & Sleeping Beauty, The Crooked Spire Musical, In Our Skin and The Wardrobe Ensemble’s The Great Gatsby.
Frazer is an experienced facilitator and educator with over 5 years of experience working with young people in both formal educational and creative settings. I am a huge advocate for encouraging yes in a world of no. If you need help planning workshops or engagement activities for schools and colleges then give me a shout.
